This project was developed to address inequities in resilience among children in Wilson County, especially those in the foster care system and those living in poverty. By engaging each of the school districts in the County, the Wilson County Health Department was able to see variations in implementation of resilience skills training in the county. Each school district provided the work group with counselors, administrators, and teachers to help understand factors affecting youth resilience and implementation of a trauma-informed system of care.
